(Source: UNOG - United Nations Office at Geneva) 20 July 2016 The Committee against Torture will meet at the Palais Wilson in Geneva from 25 July until 12 August to examine measures adopted by Kuwait, Honduras, Burundi, and Mongoliato prevent and punish acts of torture. In the case of Burundi, a special report was requested by the Committee. Representatives of those countries will come before the Committee to discuss national efforts to implement the rights enshrined in the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
